The EC mark shows that the product complies with the measures settled by the European Community standards and its technical specifications.
What does an EC mark provide, when applied on a product?
By the EC symbol applied on the product we understand a sole identification of the entire Europe, being approved the free transit of goods in the European Union.

Date when the EN 14351-1 enters in force
In the European Union, the product standard, the performance features for doors and windows, was entered in March 2007.
The first deadline to obtain the EC mark by the Romanian producers of carpentry- March 2009. The deadline was extended until March 2010.
Izotec got the EC mark in March 2008.
