IZOTEC Cup, 3rd international edition

IZOTEC Cup at field tennis reached the 3rd edition and started on Saturday, the 10th of July, on the fields of the sport basis Tennis Star and Kym Star in Piatra Neamt, for the organization of those from Tennis Club 2008 Piatra Neamt, Tennis Star and the Board for Sport of Neamt county. The happiness of the hosts is that in 2010 2 players from Moldavian Republic applied, being the first tennis contest for juniors in our city wherein tennis players from abroad attend. The organizers managed to collect prizes of 30.000 lei, and at the beginning there were about 100 children, boys and girls, of 10, 12, 14 and 16 years old fighting for it. “From the very beginning we wanted continuity in the tour organization and I am glad that in 2010 we still managed to find the necessary funds to keep this competition for the children”, stated Lucian Irimia, the contest manager of Izotec Cup. The number of participants is quite big, but it is according to the expectations of the hosts, since the prices are attractive. “The level of the game is increasing, which gives us hopes that from one year to another we will have more and more spectacular games. Maybe we will have the chance to see how a great word tennis player becomes famous. People who came here also came in the past years in Piatra Neamt, at Izotec Cup, and you can see they’ve worked had to make progresses”, stated Irimia. The tennis of our city is represented by players from Tennis Star, Kim Star and Condor, but their competence is difficult. “I would like to see as many prizes as possible at the children from Piatra Neamt, but they all need to know that their rivals will do anything to win. There will be strong fights until the finals”, added the organizer. As well as in the past editions, Izotec cup is a raffle one, the main attractions being the sportive equipment, a Playstation gameand one week-end at ”Pensiunea Liliana” in Cimpulung Moldovenesc. In the end, when the best of them will receive distinctions, the winners will receive diplomas, cups, medals and sportive equipment.

"Izotec Cup" makes u forget about the financial crisis

A new success in the organizational department is expected at the 3rd edition within the "Izotec Cup" tour contest, at field tennis. The Fest dedicated to the children starts today (10 o’clock) at the tennis fields within "Ceahlaul" Sport Club. The contest sponsor is Izotec Group, a national company supporting the performance and young talents every year. Other sponsors beside Izotec - Savinesti who brought important prizes at this year edition are: Gealan Romania, Walmark. Amicii, Ghezaco, Clematis Flower Shop, Central Hotel, Magic Cake, Dinamic '92, Alfa International, Citadin Cons, Olympus Trade. 10-12, 14 and 16 (boys and girls) are the contest categories of the 3rd edition of "Izotec Cup". The last category means the novelty of this year contests, the organizers approving to complete the contest panels after many applications coming from parents, children attending the contest and clubs. The total value of the prizes is of 30.000 de lei, plus a raffle for all the participants, and the big prize meaning a week-end at one of the tourist inns of the county. "We manage to keep the tradition this year for our contest, not taking into account the situation of the financial crisis", stated Mihaela Budacă, marketing manager of Izotec Group
 
With „Izotec Cup„ losers also win
 
Losers took everything at „Izotec Cup„, therefore contradicting ABBA’s song. We are talking about the raffle prizes of the contest from Piatra Neamţ. The most important were given to 2 kids who have already left the competition. First it was the prize consisting in one week-end at Slănic Moldova, with the family. The lucky winner is Codruţ Condrad, from Comăneşti. The second prize, a portable Play Station, was granted to Lucian Matinov, from Poli Bucharest. The extraction was done by a representative of the hosts, Mihnea Mitrofan, from CSS Tîrgu Neamţ, who had a lucky hand only for the guests. Another 9 of the following 10 prizes, consisting of a set of balls, left to other cities. Only the last ticket was assigned to a winner from Piatra Neamţ.
